Birth plan assistance

1 Complimentary prenatal message in the comfort of your own home

24/7 On call support by email or phone two weeks before and up until you go into labor.

Continuous support during labor- Once you feel you are in labor, you'll call me and we'll see when and where should meet you (I will need up to an hour to get prepared, find childcare, and drive). Once there, I will remain with you throughout the labor, providing continuous support to you and your partner, making suggestions for progress, ease and comfort supporting your confidence and encouraging your body's own natural abilities. Your body knows exactly what to do! As we work together, I will support your process in allowing the birth to happen with as much ease as possible as it unfolds.

Birth Photography and/ or video

2 postpartum visits (times are completely flexible depending on your needs and schedule): one visit when the baby is about two to three days old to see how breast feeding is going and how the family is settling and to admire your beautiful baby! The second visit will be at about three or four weeks to make sure that you have the continuing support you need and to give resources such as parenting groups and postpartum mood disorder groups. At this time, I will bring to you you're birth story and timeline of events along with pictures from your labor and birth.

A written birth story

Services that I do NOT do:

Perform medical procedures, such as blood pressure, IV's, blood draws, or manual exams.

Make decisions for the mother or baby's medical care.

Also, I will not judge you under any circumstances especially if you feel like you want pain relief. I have no negative opinions of hospitals and their staff. I do not have my own birth agenda. This is your birth not mine.

Extra:

I am available to attend classes (such as yoga for labor or CBE classes) and/or a prenatal meeting with your doctor or midwife.
